Thats a big improvement! Lighting is a lot better now. I would suggest toning the brightness down a little bit and adding the lamp next to the couch. That should give a nice color variance. I would consider looking at all the assets and changing them to make them match better with the reference. The couch looks slightly different from what you have right now and some of the proportions are off. Making screencapures of the video reference will make it a lot easier to compare it with what you have. Also, I’m not sure (just had a quick look) but it looks like the room is at least partly covered by a carpet so you might want to have a look at that. The room also appears to be partially lit by natural sunlight so there’s probably windows in there. Hopefully will provide you with that photo reference so you can get a more accurate understanding of the room layout.
Thanks I cant take too much credit for the lightning as is as I wrote the RealisticRendering project. Yeah, and I hope Shelley can hunt down the track that they are using for the intro so I can use it in the flythrought.
How would I add a animated door blueprint to the level? It would be most amazing with a playable level of the complete Epic Games office
is pretty cool!
However I have one little grip: The On-Air sign.
Take a look at it for a few seconds and try and figure out what I’m getting at…
Not noticed?
It seems to be on the wrong side of the door. Why would the On-Air sign be where the recording was? Surely it’d be on the other-side of the door, to let people know not to enter
But great job! Really digging it!
Thanks! If only could shoot those referense images already
Ladies and gentlefish, welcome to Epics stream condo.
EDIT:
I added the original material instead of the dark one. It feelt too dark wih the dark material.
How did you like the materialchanges? Better or worse?
