Download Unreal Engine Remote on the App Store!
We’re excited to announce that the revamped version of the Unreal Engine Remote application is now available for iOS, and Android support is coming soon! You can stream a preview session from your computer directly to your mobile device and test your projects using real touch controls in Unreal Engine 5 and Unreal Editor for Fortnite. All touch input is processed as standard touch input in your project, no extra hardware required.
Now powered by Pixel Streaming 2, Unreal Engine Remote delivers a fast, high-quality streaming experience fully compatible with UE5 and UEFN.
Getting Started with Unreal Engine 5
-
Open your Unreal Engine 5 project.
-
Launch Unreal Engine Remote on your iOS device.
-
Enable the Remote Session plugin in your UE5 project.
-
Make sure your development computer and mobile device are on the same network.
-
Optionally enable Preview Platform for a mobile platform and set a mobile aspect ratio.
-
Depending on your project, you may need to enable Use Mouse for Touch in the Play menu Advanced Settings to enable touch controls in PIE.
-
Launch a Play In Editor session.
-
When the session starts, enter your computer’s IP address in Unreal Engine Remote and tap Connect. Automatic session discovery will be supported for UE 5.8 sessions.

Why Pixel Streaming 2?
The upgrade to Pixel Streaming 2 means lower latency, better image quality, and a more stable connection, so what you see on your mobile screen is a faithful representation of what players will experience.
