It doesn’t matter if the hardware can’t run it. It’s not even close to being as powerful as Android/iOS and that’s the low-end for UE4.
Also, PS4 games sell more units and make way more money than the 3DS
I’m pretty sure Ue4 can make pretty much any game it wants, just become a licensed developer for Nintendo and ask them for an sdk that can work with the editor. Im sure they would be happy to give it to you if the game looks good for their platform. Of course it is true that the hardware of their systems cant handle the engines graphics and hard coding that doesn’t mean you don’t have the option to scale down the power and graphics of your game or build a less powerful game that meets the maximum output of the hardware’s capabilities. You can also think about this if you develop for html then you can technically release any game for the 3ds regardless of what engine you use as long as you understand its for there e shop because 3ds can’t use the editor to make retail games but the e shop 3ds games are html
