Cvar “ToolMenusViewportToolbars“ still doesn’t work in 5.7.4.
You said you disabled Lumen and VSMs, but did you also disable RT shadows? RT shadows trace against Nanite’s fallback geometry.
I already disabled RT Shadows and complete disabled “Use Hardware Ray Tracing when available“. I own a RTX card, but I don’t use any RTX features, just got it from my new Laptop and maybe I would like to use DLSS.
Hi! Unreal 5.7.4. alembic was imported from 3dsmax. When added to the scene, it stands correctly and the Z-axis looks up. When “snap to surface” is turned on, it rotates 90 degrees
This issue persists after a fresh Windows 11 install with latest updated Nvidia driver, with no code plugins enabled, on the default First Person template. This never happened before along a lot of version from 5.1.x and the last one that was 5.7.3, but on 5.7.4 this issue just bumped. I’ll wait patiently for a 5.7.5 update or I build 5.7.3 from GitHub.
what is up with the install… i have nuthin now and my installer is dead…
as blender and UE both blast off to new horizons, please stabilize 5.7, as it will be all i need for what i do… it’s been a great journey since UE3, best of luck to all of you…
Skinned mesh reimport been freezing in UE5.7 unless setting this:
Interchange.FeatureFlags.Import.FBX false
Some Ui issue if Category Name is set for Character Camera(Assigned) - category itself cant be filtered,searched if Set to Visible Anywhere (Must Be Edit Anywhere) - no problems when bool is set like that - it just loose focus on components,separation with subcategories “|” also wont fix that
