Unreal Engine 5.5 GPU Crash (GPU Crashed or D3D device removed.)

issue seems to be megalights. project worked perfect until i enabled them then insta gpu crashes. also have a large body of water, and i went to increase the reflections in the post process and it crashed while increasing the slider.

This crash started happening after upgrading my Nvidia driver to the latest version. I can no longer launch PIE without the GPU Crashed or D3D Device Removed error.

Thanks because thanks to your post I’ve found out what caused the crash at the render time . It was the plugin Ocean System for Rendered Cinematics v2.0. Since I removed the render works fine. Even Ultra Dynamic sky and ultra Dynamic Weather worked fine.
Only the Ocean system makes UE crash

I’m happy to be able to help. I believe that Unreal will find out why the water system is causing conflict with the mega light and fix this bug.

I’m getting GPU crash with standalone builds only.
Editor seems to run okay. I’m using nanite, but not lumen or megalights.
I guess we have to stay on 5.4 for now.
