i have a 4 gb pc and i cant build lightmapp the editor crash

4 gigs to build lightmaps is very low, i sometimes have crashes even with 32gigs.

yeah well if you ever package a game and try to sell it have fun saying that to all your ****** off customers wanting their money back because ue4 need the most up to date **** to run your game on…or maybe they won’t even buy it because they will need a beefy computer and the latest drivers…i was horrified to see that when i tried to test play a simple demo i made on a 4 year old computer and it’s frame rate is like 3fps…makes you think…hmmm…should i even try to sell a game made with ue4?? it won’t play on computers that i can use pretty much any game i’ve ever gotten on…but yea…just tell them that in order to play your game they must invest 5000 in a gaming computer…haha

I didn’t understand half of what you said. Up 2 Date drivers are normal, every game that comes out expects an up2date driver. Maybe your demo isn’t optimized enough. There are tons of switches that might need to be flipped in order to get decent performance, this is game development, not make-game-plz-button-development.
