I downloaded 4.19 now - updating from 4.19 preview 6.
Windows Defender (fully updated today) says it finds Trojan:Win32/Critet.BS in the C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.19\Engine\Binaries\DotNET\SwarmAgent.exe .
I am pretty sure this is not the case, because I have (almost) never had any viruses or Trojans on my machine, and there were none before I updated to 4.19 today.
I guess this is a false positive, but no one else here is talking about this, and many of you would have Windows 10 and Windows Defender. I find that worrying!
Could the downloader from the Epic Game Launcher in some way lead me to a corrupt / infected torrent for this release?
When I delete the SwarmAgent.exe, Defender is happy, but I am not, because then I can not build any lighting!
Hello people, it may be off-topic but I am getting ignored everywhere, can you tell me why this bug isn’t fixed yet?
The staff member told me it was fixed in 4.19 but it didn’t, someone please check this, i even made a forum post in general discussion, but seems nobody cares.
Also image hotlinking is still broken since the big forum update from last year. Images show up fine in preview but I can’t submit the post because of error “Please upload at least one photo” The error persists even after I remove the image which means I can’t post until I refresh the page.
Embarrassing how it’s still not fixed since I reported it in the forum feedback thread back in August.
Having issues with “Attach to component”, It’s used to attach the player weapon to a hand socket, now in 4.19 it only gets crazy offsets that seem to make no sense at all.
If un-plugging the attach, the weapon is positioned correctly again, until attached again, and it flips around and ends up somewhere behind the characters back.
Adding a new mesh and trying to attach it gives the same results…
Anyone know any solutions to this? Its worked as expected in 4.17.2 (and earlier).
I cant open android preview on 4.19
it takes a lot of time changing preview rendering from shader5 to android preview
it was not a problem in the previous version
Ah I see. Could you post the link to the answerhub report please?
You can’t really de-upgrade a project to my knowledge, but restore your project from a backup, and if there are compatible BP nodes you’d want to copy over it should be possible to copy/paste them into a text file and back into the other editor. Perhaps someone else here has a better solution tho. It could end up being faster to redo any lost work in the older build however.
