guys, 4.9.2 memory leaks fixed in 4.10 ?
because that’s insane how bad is 4.9.2 update is compare to 4.8.3
I just want to know if gpu paticles is supported on metal since it should have been available since 4.7.Thanks
Modulate Shadows fixed in preview 3 : Just updated to prev 3 and the shadows are back - please ignore , looks like you fixed whatever it was
Will UMG support gamepad controller (for Windows) in 4.10? I’m on 4.9.2 and making some work arounds to make it work and don’t know if I should wait for 4.10.

You override “On Key Down”.

Well I can get input from gamepad, that’s no problem. What I need is focus on buttons for gamepad and also able to control UI with mouse. When player starts using gamepad, UI changing to gamepad logic and vice versa.
Epic Staff. During the startup of 4.10.0 preview 3 the engine would crash with an Assert error on the oculus. I had to delete all oculus plugins and the engine would start up just fine. I am NOT using the oculus plugins so I don’t even know why it was checking them.
Anyhow, just thought I would let you know. I submitted the bug report through the crash reporter but thought I would let you all know how I fixed it.
Just installed the 4.10 Preview 3 in El Capitan and it works fine, really nice update and really looks faster than the previous version.
Is the 4.10 version using Metal already??
Kind Regards.

seams like some in PIE, small one
and really huge, like 20-50 meg per sec in function library blueprint editor.
Hey,
I’d like to know if the issues with ribbon particles (like crashing shipping builds) were addressed in UE 4.10?
When I try to run my project on 4.10 it says that could not be compiled.I used a project made from fps example game how to fix it?
I’d like to know if Tegra X1 is now supported
Will fix for UE-21286 ( https://answers.unrealengine/questions/305084/the-text-render-component-is-not-updating-on-the-v.html) and the fix for this issue : https://answers.unrealengine/questions/297243/build-lighting-stuck-at-80ish.html#comment-297243-form be in 4.10 ?
I can hardly continue my project because of these…

Hi Frederick,
I’m not sure about the first one off hand, but the build lighting one is fixed in 4.10 already. You can test this in the latest Preview 3 build of 4.10. For reference, that was UE-20782 that that one was reported with.

Thanks for
Fixed! UE-22260 Attempting to connect to Perforce source control causes a crash
It is not crashing but somehow I can’t get it to connect. (using the right settings / p4v is connecting without problems)
[/]
I am having this same issue. Doesn’t crash but it also doesn’t even seem to try to connect (seems to fail way too quickly to have tried to connect). P4V and P4 work fine, it’s only Unreal that doesn’t work.
Epics, please update 4.10 preview with a patch for vs2015 Update 1, I saw it in github already. Thanks.
For all others I would not recommend updating visual yet.
4.10 preview 3 fixes the lighting build bug for me, but its unusable for actual development as theres no guarantee the next preview will import preview 3 projects. Preview 3 wouldn’t load a preview 2 project.

As was mentioned previously in this thread and is even shown when you install the Preview versions …
://i.imgur/dajqfq2.png
… you shouldn’t be using PREVIEW VERSIONS for actual development.
Unsure why this is such a hard concept for “Developers” to understand, even when there’s a warning about preview versions
That’s what i said, 4.10 fixes the the issue but its currently unusable for actual development.

Which is why it’s always better to wait for the stable full release (or go to the last full release) before using it for actual development
