hi there! its a wee bit late, I assume, but I`ll still reply in case anybody wondering.
It seems that the blend is working without any issues if you use only duplicates of the same camera for your camera blending at timeline. You may change the parameters of camera after duplicating, just dont create new ones from the menu.
This is a weird solution, but it worked for me!
