I would not try to use it on 8gb, maybe 16gb ram minimum and minimum 6gb vram on gpu (depending on the project).

On my system I have 128gb ram and 12gb vram (big openworld rpg game project), and ram might be as high as 30gb sometimes when multiple meshes and other assets are open same time.
