Has anyone managed to install or download any new UE engine or FAB Libraries successfully from the Epic Launcher?
SInce after the recent update in the Epic Launcher v18.5, the problem for “Unable to install any Fab Libraries or Unreal Engine” seemed to be back again. Even leaving the Epic Launcher to run for more than 10 hours online, nothing has been installed or downloaded.
Even though the download queue seemed to be in order. However, nothing has been going on installing any of the newly selected Engine or FAB Libraries/plugins/projects.
So far, the only way to add Fab Libraries/plugins (only ~98% of the Libraries is available) is from inside the UE game engine editor, using the menu selection, “Window->FAB->Add it to project”. But this method could not use for installing a new UE Game Engine.
Perhaps, the proper & previous way of installing the Fab Libraries/plugin/Game Engine from the Epic Launcher, is still ‘under reconstruction’.
Oh finally~ Fatastic! Thank you very much for the answer.
It had been watested many many hours & days of debugging/trying with all the available solutions for the problem.
I had tried a minute ago. The laucher finally works for 99% of the Libraries/plugins/UE engines now! I had not tried those libraries bought but no longer listed for sale in the new FAB.
