Yes, this happens on a new project as well.

Could be an issue with my phone then.

  3. Attached the test project files (extract directly to Content/) link text

  5. Android 4.4.2

Edit - did you try this on an Android or iOS phone? Could be a problem specific to Android. Let me know if it works for you on an Android 4.4.2 phone.
