thanks for that Eddy, looks your post isn’t going anywhere fast as there has been 2 major engine updates since you’re report and hasn’t been resolved but you’re question is marked as resolved for me 4.6 has crashed every time I’ve opened it each time for for different reason, so I’m not going to be updating my projects just yet, and from what i have gathered there will be no more support or updates for 4.4 and 4.5 so it looks grim for me to release one of my games on app store before holidays. I’m currently trying to find documentation on touch interfaces as i think a workaround can be made as i have shown here - YouTube other than having to twitch joystick to initiate tilt it works. please let me know if you have any thoughts.

I have an update for this issue. It is scheduled to be fixed in 4.7 release. developers discovered It was an issue in how slate sends motion events focusing any widget, but game viewport would have caused this issue to occur. We appreciate your patience with this issue and report you made to have it addressed originally. Look for release notes in upcoming build for fix.

I am seeing this problem continue in 4.7 Preview 2 when running mobile preview mode. Seriously hoping this gets fixed.
This is fixed internally and should be included in official 4.7 Release. fix was integrated after 4.7 Preview 2 branch, so that’s why you aren’t seeing it yet.

I tested on 4.7 Preview 4 today and touch issue does appear to be fixed. It was hard to test, however because orientation appears to have a bug. My game for iOS is set to only allow Landscape Right. When that is selected, game is show in landscape, but oriented in portrait on device with right half of game screen cut off. See image below. Note, this works fine in 4.6…has this already been reported or should I report?

Thank you for providing necessary repro steps for this issue. I have been able to recreate this issue internally. I have written JIRA UE-8175 and placed it into our bug database so that issue may be resolved in a future release.

I don’t know if it’s same problem, but if we use joystick and have a umg button we can’t use it at same time.

This issue was resolved in version 4.7. Your issue seems to be a bit different as this one is related to UMG widget causing tilt function to stop working.
