The way I found out how to fix this is to create a textstyleset (it is a datatable btw), add a new row inside of it, set the font settings in said row and name the row to Default. Go back into the richtextblock, set the textstyleset to the datatable you created and type your text in the content box. If you want colors, add a new row and in the content box type “(lessthansign)rowname(greaterthansign) Your text goes here (lessthansign)/(greaterthansign)”. Do note that this is only for text, as for images, I have yet to figure out how to get that to work. Hope this helps though!
