UI buttons become inactive after clicking world

Didn’t we fix (workaround) it by spamming Input Mode?

I dont think that fixed the issue for me as spamming it caused issues, i eventually decided to change my control system to completely avoid the issue. This was quite along time ago though, ive put that project on hold and working on something else so i could be wrong.

The lesson here is: buttons are only good for one time clicks, fire and forget. Want nuanced behaviour? Make your own buttons!

I think the issue was the UI widget wouldnt gain focus (or the buttons just wouldnt be clickable) when the right mouse click was being held as the widget was opened.
