UE4 Users Wishlist

I only wish for one darn thing for Epic to add right now, and that’s Network Shader Compiler Distribution
Essentially, use a server on your network to compile shaders so client/editor side UE4 can continue working uninterrupted. Nothing worse than being on a roll integrating assets, then having to create a large amount of materials and wait sometimes up to multiple minutes after hitting save on a complex material.
I ran some tests on this and found it can greatly improve efficiency in the editor for anyone working with materials/shaders. This is what I really hope they consider in the future.

You should make a feature request post for that, I second this.
