UE4 Editor bug

Back to the bug.

I checked option “standalone game”. In this option bug didn’t occur.

Hi Damianno19,

I had to remove a lot of the clutter in this post for user to read things a bit easier. To summarize:

  • You’re still have glowing lights on your screen that show up randomly
  • Disabling lens flair and bloom using a post process gets rid of the glowing lights
  • You never see the issue while in standalone

Since this seems to be related to how your system handles lens flair and bloom. Could you create a test project by following these steps:

  1. open blank project
  2. Add postprocess volume to default map with bloom and lens flair intensity at max intensity.
  3. Make sure the volume is enabled and unbound
  4. create an emissive material that is strong enough to glow
  5. drag in a basic box into the scene
  6. apply the emissive material to the box
  7. See if the bloom and lens flair behaves as expected

Hi,
I did as you asked, the bug still occurs.
