Wow, this is really cool. I just got done making some turrets that I put on Turbosquid.
Did you set this up with Code or Blueprints?

Would it be very difficult to make the turrets rotateable? At the moment they do not allow that, I hope the screenshot is clear about what I mean:

We’ve updated our Turret Kit to work way more fluent on multiplayer games. Right now it’s a bit chucky if there’s a lot of turrets in one scene, so we’ve improved this to be 100% smooth. If you use this kit in any multiplayer game this update is a high recommendation.

Sorry Btengelh, we were’t yet able to push an update that includes sideways turrets.
No hurry, at the moment we can simply rotate the meshes and stuff. But it’d safe a lot of time in the future Thanks for planning to include this feature
Yeah we have it on our task list, but it’s quite busy around here at this point so we’ll probably not be able to push it out really soon. We’ll let you know when we do!

Great job on this turret work really handy.
Really well demonstrated.
I have a question…
I want the projectile to break some destructible meshes and push other items away etc.
Can the projectile be set to be a bp or static mesh with physics enabled?
Or is it just a particle…
Any suggestions or a simple example would be magnificent.

Is there an easy way to make the turrets not lock onto dead bodies of NPCs?
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Engine versions 4.13 and up:
Turret Kit has received a rework of code and now properly supports sideways placement of turrets! Place your turrets in any direction you want without the turret going crazy! (Beware doing this might give weird results if you are located on the opposite side of it’s bottom, angle lock to come in future version).
Turret kit now also allows a “bIsDead” Boolean in GetInfo to let the turret know the player is dead and so ignore it or lose it as a target.
