Truck trailer support sink in the ground ?

i add bone to support as like other truck trailer from synty but stills sink to ground i dont know where is the problem as i watch tutorials in youtube !!!

thanks atot

Bones don’t offer any support. They are for deformation. Your issue is all to do with the collision mesh, which looks from your first picture to not cover the tyres. You can create a custom collision in Blender if you prefix it with UCX or something I think, or Unreal might be able to generate you a convex mesh.

thank you i will check it

I see. Try starting the game and then running “show collision” in the console to see where your colliders are. They might not be constrained to or collidng with each other.

thank you for your assistance

I’m not sure. In your physics asset in the details panel for the wheel and stand, maybe the collision settings are wrong or not enabled.

trying to make support raise or lower need help what did i miss ?

thanks for help

I’m not sure I can help. Are the supports and wheels on the mesh properly assigned to the bones and colliders?

i copy the bone to support and doors and checked them all are assigned to bone before import them and i m using glb not fbx and compared with other trailers !!!

I don’t know. If you upload the truck file, I can have a look.

I imported it, added colliders and played about with it and got it working. I disabled collision on the constraints, and made sure the wheels weren’t overlapping. Enabling CCD for the bodies helps, or if you increase the size of the support so it’s more of a square from a top down view, that helps, as does making sure your ground is not a plane but the top face of a box. I think this is just a limitation of Unreal’s poor physics and collisions.

well done … UNFORTUNATELY i m beginner (noob) learning so the question is nothing wrong in blender only was in unreal engine collision setup ?! or something … i followed all steps from tutorial i watched anyway thank you very much assistance

fixed but still working on red collision

Unreal physics is whack.

about green collision and and red collision why give me red ?!

I don’t understand.

I see there is a picture which I didn’t see before. I never found out what the different collision colours mean.
