Timeline not save settings

There is no such thing as vector lock - what you’re saying makes no sense.

You have a perfect working example in the link I posted.

Or simply increase the value from 1 to much higher in you track.

I understand, I will try your solution, thank for this, but if I understood correct in this tutorial developer lock two vector and work only with Z it is very useful.

I already try your solution, work well, but I still don’t understand, why I can’t lock…

That locking only affects the curve editing in the timeline. You don’t lock your object’s position like that.
If you can’t figure it out, I can show you an example in about 4 hours when I get home.

Looks good.

why I can’t lock…

Lock what? There’s nothing to lock. The icons in the timeline editor are just there so you can isolate selection and do not accidentally drag something else.

)))) but in tutorial dev lock vector do you see it?

Yes, this is precisely what Tuerer and I have been saying…
He does it so he doesn’t accidentally change its value.

Ok)))) but how he moved mesh only in Z vector? black magic?))

No, the other axes are set to 0. If you’re using relative movement, this is a perfect solution.

He hides, locks it and says it himself - “[…]just to make sure we don’t add keyframes for them[…]”

around 6:52s

You made me watch it! I hope you are satisfied. And I hope you step on your cat today! x)

yes))) thank guys! Now all work perfect!
