WaterWorld Cinematic Update - Submerged City Modular Part 2

The modular assets from our cinematic project - WaterWorld were mostly inspired by the two beautiful cities in Vietnam - Hanoi and Hoi An. Though all of them lie deep down under the sea and mostly were destroyed, they still remain the typical signs of the two cities such as boats, bus, traffic light, water tanks and many things :smiley: What do you think?

WaterWorld_Cinematic_Update: Submerged City Level

This is the full environment used in the WaterWorld cinematic project. All modular assets now are assembled into a level of a submerged city. Everything is deep down under the sea, covered by a moss green layer water due to the contamination. This is also the place where Mee - the main character would meet the giant monster - Datrang for the first time.

WaterWorld_Cinematic_Update: BARM MECH Hipoly Model

This is the render of BARM Mech’s high poly model. We created a small size mech to be suitable for a teenage girl like Mee. She will drive this one into the deep sea to retrieve artifacts from lost civilization. It’s also a perfect shelter for her when she suddenly encounters giant monsters lurking around. What do you think?

**WaterWorld Cinematic Update: submerged city landscape **

More screen shots of the submerged city’s landscape from our cinematic project - Water World. Although the ocean gets contaminated for a long long time, there are still many beautiful and mystery unknown foliage living under the sea. Most of them are in dark color tones due to the osmosis of polluted water so they are harmonious with the ruins of the submerged city but still bring the vitality to the “Water World”.

Some render images of Datrang high poly model - a giant monster roaming from our cinematic project - Water World. Originally, it was a little cute crab but after the rain of meteors, it got infected by unknown and dangerous virus then started mutating into new forms of life. It’s no longer a cute but a scary one with many long sharp tooth hunting its prey…

WateWorld_Cinematic_Update: Datrang final model

Hey guys, this is the final 3D look of Datrang - a giant monster in our cinematic project - WaterWorld! Since Datrang consumed contaminated green-ish sea water as its main food source, we decided to give its main color as dark green skin with golden scales.

**Water World Cinematic Update: BARM Mech final model! **

This is the final 3D model of the BARM Mech - a small mech size with a mecka frog look in our cinematic project - Water World. The greenish color somehow helps it blend in the contaminated water yet becoming the best camouflage for Mee to avoid some troubles when she travels under the sea.

Water World - BARM Town Modular Assets Part 2

These are floating buildings and the foliage in BARM Town - the floating village where Mee’s living in our WaterWorld cinematic project. Most of the houses are built from re-cycled materials and the villagers have to re-use the old stuffs from previous eras as much as possible to equip their daily life with full convenience.
