The new glTF import supported in 4.19 preview is awesome. [Experimentation]

any news on glTF skeletons, or just regular for that matter…

Love the plugin but is not still suported when using import into level, so the only result is to import single meshes without keeping the transform informations from a scene created inside a DCC.

Not even in Unreal 5.0 preview can you import GLTF directly into a level. :frowning:

Also, skeletal meshes are not supported at all, still?

Enable DATASMITH plugin, click on the top menu icon on the editor, and now you can import GLTF into level (the import GUI is minimal but it works “flawlessly”, if crashes try disabling the “generate lightmap uv” checkbox ) I’m using from quite a year right now importing huge scenes from blender.
