I’m an owner of a internet cafe and I’m having a problem with Fortnite. All other games, the ones under Steam, Battlenet and other platforms are updating flawless (means checking the game vault, then downloading the needed files). Although the DeepFreeze is installed on the drive C:\ and the games are installed on the drive D:\ that is not locked, the game asks for updates anytime you restart the computer because it writes data that are saved in the registry of the Windows (it gets deleted by the DeepFreeze). It does the update at every restart even though the game was updated before the restart. The game is unable to recognize the update that is already in the drive D:\ so it starts downloading the whole update from your servers again. Understand my position, I can’t disable the DeepFreeze because it’s a public place and I must protect myself against viruses and malicious things. I cant disable/enable the protection at 50 computers. Best regards.
