When this error appeared to me, I had disabled the generic pnp monitor in the device manager, so I could change the resolution of Fortnite, when I enabled the option again, the game would open normally, as if nothing had happened, try to check this. Open device manager, go to Monitors, and check if Generic PnP Monitor is enabled, if it is, there is some other problem, at least this solved my problem.
Thx man, it worked like a charm
I HAVE THE SOLUTION!! (Well one of them. It worked for me.) So all you need to do is just disconnect from your wifi. That’s it. (Not sure if this is the same thing bc I am small brain, but I just press the disconnect button instead of completely turning off the router. But that’s just me.) I hope this solved your problems!
i Can Find File TJoC_SM.cfg
pls help me
I have the solution,
type environment in windows
then in the advance section click on environment variables
at the top of the variable (user variable)
click new and type :
OPENSSL_ia32cap (Variable Name)
~0x20000000 (variable value)
you can see here for detail step :
Look, I didn’t have a .cfg file and I didn’t know what it was supposed to be, I decided to download the rebirth version in order to see what files are there. After that, I took and transferred the .cfg file to the folder with TJOC:SM and made the following settings:
showsetup=0
commandline=
Scalability:
resolution=0
Textures = 0
view distance = 0
postprocess = 0
Foliage = 0
effects=0
AA=0
Graphics:
fullscreenmode=0
Resolution X = 1920; Y=1080
vsync=0
monitor=1
And after all this, the game started without problems. I will be glad if it helps someone.
Can you tell me how to install and where to upload this cfg file?
If you manage to find the .cfg file, me and a friend have been trying this for months, the solution you ask? rename the file but with uppercase letters instead of lowercase (EX: TJoC_SM.cfg) , no idea how to find this file regularly though, but that fixed it
For those who still haven’t solved the error, what you have to do is tell the game not to start from the graphics setup and modify its parameters manually.
First go to where you have the game and find the TJoC_SM
folder, followed by that, run the TJoC_SM.cfg
with notepad and change the following values:
ShowSetup=0
Graphics.Monitor=1
Because of this you have to manually change the resolution and its percentage, although this is not necessary if you meet the requirements of the game in the first place:
Scalability.Resolution=50
Scalability.Shadows=0
Scalability.Textures=0
Scalability.ViewDistance=0
Scalability.PostProcess=0
Scalability.Foliage=0
Scalability.Effects=0
Scalability.AA=0
Graphics.FullscreenMode=0
Graphics.ResolutionX=1280
Graphics.ResolutionY=768
These values are unrelated to the problem of starting and only serve to modify the graphics of the game, change the Scalability.Resolution=50
to 75
or 100
for greater sharpness and the ResolutionX
and ResolutionY
values according to your monitor.
Changing those values I was able to run it on a Q6600 with an R5 240 with OC, which previously did not run it, I was able to run it without closing problems or anything like that, for now it is the only solution I have for them.
If the file does not appear, just create it in txt document format with the following structure:
ShowSetup=0
Commandline=
Scalability.Resolution=50
Scalability.Shadows=0
Scalability.Textures=0
Scalability.ViewDistance=0
Scalability.PostProcess=0
Scalability.Foliage=0
Scalability.Effects=0
Scalability.AA=0
Graphics.FullscreenMode=0
Graphics.ResolutionX=1280
Graphics.ResolutionY=768
Graphics.VSync=1
Graphics.Monitor=1
This contribution will help give a definitive solution, remember to name it TJOC_SM.cfg
and place it in the TJoC_SM
folder.
i did what your instructions said down to the T and it still didnt work and i dont even know why.
