Getting to be a nice start there! Would be very interested in playing through this and seeing how things compare. Strife was a classic game.
Check out my facebook page (link is in my sig). It has build #2 (which admittedly is out of date). Build #3 had issues and not a lot of improvements. I’m hoping to get Build #4 on there soon. The plan for build 4 is to have 4 available levels and maybe a main menu system. I’m very close to finishing the 4th level now. I already had UMG based dialogs so the menu shouldn’t be too hard for the basics.
I have my 4th build available for download. It has the first 4 maps mostly complete. I discovered there were a couple of things missing after I built this, but it appears to be in good shape considering how early this is in the process.
You also have STRAFE® to contend with:

They recently had a Kickstarter and managed to raise $207,847 out of a pledge goal of $185,096
Though perhaps they are hiring at the moment?

I think I can help you speeding up the process.
There is a method to convert WAD maps to Build engine.
And from there you can convert Build maps to STL.
Having that you can use Blender or Sketchup to load the STL file, clean up the geometry and export it as a FBX file that you can load in UE4.
I tried this from Build (DN3D) to Sketchup and from Blood’s modified Build to Sketchup and it works.
Didn’t try from WADs but it should work too, it generates a 1:1 copy of the map’s geometry.
Hazarding a guess, I’d suspect the IP is either held by those original developers or by the publishers Night Dive Studios.
So while I did forget about this thread, this project is very much alive. I’m on my 7th build. It has more playable areas. Questing is working. The com dialog is working. I keep this project updated on Facebook mostly. I have the town, sanctuary, front base, power plant/warehouse, prison, and most of the order’s castle implemented and working fully. There is currently no questing or com dialog in the castle. I wanted to finish this area off first, but its actually 4 maps in 1. My 7th build just has the first and primary map of the castle. I’ve completed the basic layout of the audience chamber (but its not in the current build) that contains one of the false programmers. I’m currently working on the programmers keep. I have not started on the training facility.

As for the “Strafe” that’s 1 a different name, and 2 a completely different game from what it looks like. If anything I would have potential issues with the “Strife” MOBA which is completely unrelated and Night Dive Studios which released an enhanced version of the original on Steam. If there was a way I could offer this as a workshop project for the original (I’ve never attempted a workshop project) that would solve that problem. I’m hoping that no one cares especially when I have no intention of charging just to avoid issues.
While my work is based on the original geometry, I wouldn’t want to automate it. I’ve had to make manual adjustments to various things for a variety of reasons. And even if I did, it wouldn’t place com logs or the various objects. At least I wouldn’t think. It doesn’t take that long for me to build the maps geometry. The fact that I’m working alone and generally only have time to work on it during weekends (and not every weekend) is what slows me down.
