Color me biased because purple happens to be my favorite color. 
Your Stellar Explosion looks both magically arcane and scientific. It looks like a proton or supernova appeared suddenly from another dimension to meet its doom.
You can see really cool stills by pausing the video at certain moments! At the 0:38 mark, the star collapses in on itself and there’s a cross shape of light that shines brightly before the imminent explosion. Amazing work!
