St. George's Hall

Hi All,

Thought I’d share a personal project I finished, a recreation of St.George’s Hall in Merseyside, UK.
Originally an exercise in converting Kinect data and photogrammetry to realtime 3D Mesh. With the arrival of UE4, thought it would be fun to get the scene in and running in realtime.
Not 100% happy with it, needs a few lighting tweaks, some of the mesh isn’t very optimised and the materials could do with another pass but relatively happy with it as an introduction to UE4

Really awesome!!

Not completely like the original, but of course a very cool piece of work
Keep it going!

Looks really cool, although the floor is too reflective in my opinion. Looks as if it was drenched in water just seconds ago^^

Great work McGen! This scene looks awesome. As has stated, the floor looks a bit ‘shiny’ but that is really the only problem with the scene that is noticeable. Keep up the great work! Hope to see more work from you in the future.

Very nice! =)

Hey all,

Thanks all for the positive/supportive comments and crits, greatly appreciated. @ and @Sean, yep, you’re absolutely right, over-did it on the floor material.
Have changed it and here are the new results. Hopefully it’s better

Right, onto another project now.

Thanks again!

A lot better  Good work, really impressive! I wish I could push my modeling and texturing skills thus far^^
