a lot of new tweaks and updates;

still working on balancing, just a few more years!

minibosses have more features now so i have removed the final boss entirely, as it was too heavy on the polygons anyway. these new ones have no more than a 1000 polies because it’s just a big texture projected on top. and are much easier to make.

turrets, big and small are improved, to prevent the player missing them, their ‘‘heads’’ are always lined-up with the projectiles ( height-wise )

enemy hunters are new, they are fast and will target the player or their wingmen. movement is still being tweaked, now they buzz around like flies.

missiles are fired periodically straight or targeted if any of the hunters or bosses are around, those too need to be a bit more direct, now i’ts just fun to watch them fly around, much like the hunters. missiles are collected by pickups for now.

small changes to the UI, added bullseye markers to minibosess minitargets : ))
omg and a huge change to the player stats, back to progress bars!

the player’s movement has been widened, still working on what happens if the player runs into any wall, right now it just clips thru.

music is temp, had to put in Das Boot techno for fun. i’m considering using metasound for it but that’s a long way down the road
