Since the latest Fortnite Update I get an Unreal process has crashed and i can not enter the game this happens everytime. I am just launching the game in a normal manner

Guess again. I’m gonna guess too, that you didn’t read my comment, any other way of getting support didn’t work so far.

This is being posted because posting on the Answerhub will not assist in receiving help with this issue. The support team for Fortnite or any of our game projects do not use Answerhub.

hey matthew any way we can get the crash reporting changed so it doesnt direct everyone to the answerhub. or can we at least get a way to filter out all the fortnite spam. i don’t play fortnite and i attempt to direct those questions to the support page and to questions on the topic answered by staff but there is still enough fortnite questions that is distracts from UE4 questions.

guess you didnt read the staff post. the answerhub is not for fortnite support and the staff that do support fortnite don’t look here. so you will receive no help here. the people on this answerhub are people using the unreal engine and most don’t work for epic. i myself am not a staff member i just like to help out the dev community. so basically 99% of the people who are on the answerhub would have no way to help you since we dont work on fortnite or for epic.

i understand but posting here is of no benefit to you. as the staff said you will not get a support response here. if you look at the all questions section of the answerhub a good portion is fortnite issues will will not be solved and are off topic to the purpose of the answerhub. many times the questions are the same word for word “fortnites not working help” is so common but is not going to help anyone and it literally the definition of spam.

honestly i don’t really care that much if theres fortnite questions on the answerhub. i would just like to see a way where i can filter through it so i can see the questions about UE4 that i can help people with. and so that i can see when there have been responses to comments i made without having to go to my email.

I understand it’s annoying to see all this unrelated stuff for you, but please understand how annoying it is not being able to play a game for days and getting 0 response

Matthew J you have said that you received my email and I have waited. They say they are trying to help fix it but they have done nothing. I know it was a bot that answered my question because the same answer was said to my response after that. You may be making loads of money and not care about us but frankly its a massive bug that you need to respond to. Please get in contact with somebody higher up somehow and get them to see this problem.

‘Thanks in advance for your patience and support.’

You may not care about this but many do, please ignore this if you aren’t answering. Thanks.

Hello ,

I entered a bug report for the Crash Reporter messaging when we found out about it being incorrect last week. The crash itself, which would most likely be fixed through an actual release/update instead of direct support, and this messaging will be fixed but it may take time, as they would both need to be included in an update.

the question has been answered. basically everyone here posting about fortnite is in the wrong place. go to the fortnite support page to get help. i know you are all worked up since you got no response to your emails and things but just imagine how many emails the support staff is getting right now. theres no way they will be able to reply to every single person. they obviously know about the issue at this point so just be patient and wait for the fix. my point here is that there are a bunch of posts just like this one that are burying all the questions that this answerhub if meant for and that could possibly get support. there is a dedicated support page for fortnite for a reason. the answerhub is chiefly to deal with smaller more specific issues that come in development and to help new game devs in building their skills and early games.

As previously stated, Answerhub support is for the Engine, not for game titles. I do not provide support for Fortnite. I have notified Fortnite support and they have notified QA / Developers, but I personally cannot do anything to assist you, neither can any staff members on Answerhub, as explained.

You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.
