Additional Notes
I think is something wrong with underscores and # symbols in names of files and folders for version handle system, so when my first asset version i uploaded with unredcores and # - it “hangs” the system, so any other version with changed filenames has no result…
Hello! Something similar happened to 2 of my listings after I updated them. The newest project versions updated without issues but the older versions had missing .uproject and config folder, so they didn’t worked correctly. I submitted them again for review with the same project files and the issue was present again. After a third time, both projects updated without issues. It seems that it can happen when the files are uploaded to the server, some files are not uploaded, so we need to check immediately after the update is approved if all the files are present in the project, of each version. What I do now is, if some files are missing after an update and the project doesn’t work, I delete only that project version and then I submit them again for review until all files are uploaded correctly. Hope this information helps you, as when it happened to me I was worried at the time.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I had similar thoughts, but I was considering completely deleting the asset and creating a new one, but I didn’t know I could delete a version; I didn’t pay attention. Is that the red “Delete Product Format” button? I’ll wait for a response from Epic, and if they don’t resolve it, I’ll have to do that.
Yes sure, we can delete any individual project version. That’s what I did just in case someone tried to download that specific version. It saves others the trouble of downloading a project that won’t work for them. And in the meantime I sent a new project version (same project version with a different google link) for review. Hopefully this information helps you But I advise waiting first for a reply from FAB Support.
After worthless waiting for a reasonable time of response from Epic, I noticed that the FAB check took literally a couple of hours. I deleted old Project Version and created a new(by @raul_jaramillo advice), that was quick approved, and now everything loads perfectly, all the project files are as they should be!
