Hey there @JarsMC! It’s going to come down to the feeling you want to go for. If you’re doing procedural generation and have terrain modification, raw cube voxels provide a pretty powerful and user friendly method of altering the terrain. Most users are familiar with them due to Minecraft. Though this could draw unwanted comparisons. Smooth terrain has it’s benefits in that it can have the power of the underlying voxels as well as having a more palatable look for casual players, though often you lose the relatability of regular voxels.
