Severe mouse sensitivity issue considered by design?

Sorry but I am not letting this thread die.

I really like UE4 so I don’t want to feel like I want to pull all my hair out everytime I use it.

Here, I have made actual longer video with voice recording to show you what the issue is about in detail:

I highly doubt this behavior can be justified as “by design”. I can understand and even to some point relate to instinctive defense of a behaviors that are in place for a long period of time, perhaps due to the fact, that changing the behavior may throw some of the existing users off (the infamous xkcd workflow slide: xkcd: Workflow ). Regardless, I think that this still needs to be addressed, as it goes against basic guidelines of UI/Usability design.

The reason you do not get more complains for this is because most of the new as well as existing users don’t really want to spend time thinking about it. They just open the editor, click some some object in viewport, drag it, and go “Wooow, that moves weirdly - guess I will have to use to that…” and they eventually get used to it indeed, but it does not mean it’s a good thing. If you lose a leg and get a prosthetic one, you will eventually learn to walk with it almost as efficiently as with the real one, but arguably, having two, real, working legs is always better
