The problem is still there, it keeps on blurring and focusing.
Hey Anoimus,
I have shown you all the settings where to look in order to address the issue, it is just a matter of finding the correct one within the scope of what you are attempting to achieve with this specific render target.
Be sure the Post Processing motion blur within the Scene Capture 2d component is turned off along with any other settings you do no wish to see.
Thank you,
Ok, thanks for the help!
This is crazy and I’m sorry to bump such an ancient post, but I actually have a couple of clients experiencing something like this in ue4.20 or 21?!
Was there ever a reasonable answer to how this can happen and how to fix it? I’ve got a plugin that uses render targets to simulate water and I haven’t seen the issue personally and can’t replicate, but for some crazy reason this is happening to a couple of them.
Any response would be legendary.
Cheers,
Elliot
This seems to happen when your scene capture isn’t close to origin and you’re using orthographic projection on it. Really annoying. At 4000 units from origin it pixelates quite a bit. At 8000, the pixels are twice the size.
