revision control reuined my project

after enabling revision control i my project wont load anymore it reaches 9 % sometimes 30 % and stops is there anyway i can remove revision control without entering the map or dublicate my map pls help me

You will find the ini that controls revision control at "ProjectDirectory)\Saved\Config\WindowsEditor” called SourceControlSettings.ini.

You can simply delete that file and it will remove any Revision Control settings that were saved for the project.

when i open my project there is no folder called saved

In your base directory where your .uproject is, at a minimum there should be:

-Config
-Content
-DerivedDataCache
-Intermediate
-Saved
-YourProjectName.uproject

Saved, Intermediate, and the DDC folders are all generated as needed so if you don’t have them then your project has never been run. Just clarifying that it is in Explorer not your Content Browser in the engine.

@Ruffhaus The original poster has tagged this post also as Unreal Engine but I think it’s only a UEFN issue, FYI those folder’s don’t exist in the projects directory in UEFN.

That being said in the %localappdata% in the UnrealEditorFortnite directory there are some of the files you mentioned but I don’t think those are per project but rather global configs

Ah :person_facepalming: didn’t check the tags! Sorry about that, I was also unaware that UEFN had a different folder structure, good looking out @Mineblo!

@RUSHIN Just came across this post - are you still experiencing issues with URC? If so, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to do my best to get you back in a good state
