Thanks for the tip. Problem was that the matinee actors had to hold their position once played, and so couldn’t start from the beginning. Randomly found the set position node which sets everything back to the first frame of the matinee on keypress.

Reset matinee to start?

That does not reset instantly when already playing what I think is what OP wants.
