Also,
1- Is there’s a way of making night less dark? I know there’s a “brightness power” setting but I don’t want to make the sky itself too bright and it also make daytime too bright.
2- How to smoothly blend between sequences over time? Like from a clear weather sequence to a cloudy sequence to a rainy sequence? I can’t find any node for , only a “set active sequence” but it switch instantly from a sequence to another one.
3- Any sound attached to “rain sound” slot never play

I get error when I run the Plugin on UE4. Any thoughts?

I had to delete the Megascans plugin and Ue4 Livelink for it to work. But now it only works with No ray tracing projects… It still crashes on start when I try using Ray Tracing. Which version must I download on Simul website, the latest version is dated 5th Nov in the Legacy version, must I download version for Ray Tracing to work? Also, does mean I cannot use Megascans UE4 plugin if I want to use UE4 ?

No worries got it working with Ray Tracing,

I would like to know how to do . At the moment it instantly swaps to a new squence.

you keep one sequence - but drive values that are exposed to clear the sky or a single layer of clouds. You can also drive the weather (rain etc) and wind without swaping the sequence.

hello, true sky update 4.2 did not change anything for me. the engine starts but crash at 75%. The 4.1a update works but the water does not work. it’s the same everywhere I have to do something.
ue4.23.1, RTX enable, rtx2080i, i9 core

There is way too much parameters changing between two sequences to drive them all with code. That’s not how Ark/Atlas handle weather with , they use differents sequences and blend them. https://devkit.playatlas.com/en/late…s/.html
Maybe there’s a way to make an array of sequence, get all parameters from one of those sequences and then lerp between those parameters and the ones from the main active sequence

In fact, even without the RTX enabled, the engine crash at 75%. SOS !!

I’m having the exact same issues.

Megascans is currently incompatible but with the recent news of Quixel being integrated with 4.24, we are effectively being forced to come up with a workaround. So you should expect us to be compatible with Megascans with 4.23.

Our next update should be out on the 21st, which will hopefully solve alot of issues, including DX12 problems. We are staggering the release to make sure we can sort out as many issues as possible. We also have a new in our next update so we want to have extra time to prepare for that.

Water is a 4.2 specific . I apologise that we do not make obvious enough, and I have updated the docs accordingly.

Ok , it’s true that all these updates are hard to follow.
Good luck.

We have been waiting for half a year, and we really look forward to your new version of dx12 to solve the problem

Can I have some answers please?

Hello, I am having some with 4.2(Nov3) on 4.23.1 (Unreal Studio) – It runs fine in DX11, Enabling DX12/RTX throws an exception in TrueSkyPlugin.cpp 4929

        RenderingEnabled=actorCrossThreadProperties->Visible;

■■■■ i’m using the free 30 days and TS don’t work. Still crashing at 75% when opening the Sequence.
Plus, i installed the Sky Sequencer and the EXE file disapeared?
The situation is annoying.
