RC want CPU or ram consumption for aligning.
I have more ram 256gb ddr4 but in aligning RC use CPU for processing and use ram consumption a litter bit this make slowly for align how to setting for use ram.

bigger ram will let you align more pictures and also gives some speed increase to the whole process, but mostly the core clock of the CPU will affect the alignment speed.
