Quixel Bridge Not working in Unreal Engine 5.5 or 5.6

I am trying to get my Metahumans from quixel bridge either for 5.5 or 5.6 but nothing is working since i can’t sign in. is someone else facing the same issue?

Try using FAB instead. Quixel Bridge has been merged to FAB.

I’m having this exact same issue, cannot login to Bridge at all whether its the standalone app, the engine plugin or Quixels main website using my Epic Account.

This is a major pipeline block and there’s been no communication on this whatsoever.

same issue here. Can´t log in and all assets from quixel aren´t migrated into fab for me! That´s really an major issue

Hi everyone - thanks for reporting this. We’ve investigated and fixed the issue. Please let us know if you’re still running into problems with sign-in.

Hi Abby,

I still have issues logging in both in quixel bridge and fab, in Unreal Engine 5.6.
I list down here the details.

quixel bridge:

  • If I try to log in either I get a “bad client” message or the login window remains empty, keep loading.
  • Also I got a message that an Update is available but then in the Epic Games Launcher there is no update.

fab:

  • when I press the login, it redirects me to the web browser where I successfully login.
  • the problem is that whenever I try to use it in the engine it is stuck looping the same security check (“Verify you are human”).

By the way, I have tried to log in using 5.5 and everything worked fine both for quixel bridge and fab. (I wanted to exclude any problem on my connection).

Does anyone have the same problem?
Did I do something wrong?

A quick update:
I have managed to log in in the quixel bridge (I don’t think I have done something different from before, just tried again after some times and it worked).

But I am still not able to access FAB.

Same issue here – this is my thread in case you want to comment for more reach. FAB Plugin in Unreal Engine 5.x
It seems like the problem affects everyone trying to connect the Fab plugin in UE to their Fab account for the first time.
Existing connections (older sessions) don’t seem to be affected, so only new users are getting hit with this.
