This entire post, “Questions for Epic,” came about because of the Project Mero I started a few months ago. Early on, I decided to form an LLC in the state where I live. The process is underway and I will probably have the official documents in couple of weeks.
Now, I’m facing another question and I hope Epic team can clarify it in the license because I couldn’t find the answer there.
Today, I added lead programmer to help implement some complicated features in the game and he’s now officially a collaborator on the team. This evening, he mentioned that he owns a couple of game mechanics he bought from FAB and wants to use them in Project Mero.
My question is: Since I started the project and he’s now part of the team, can he add the game mechanics he bought from FAB to my project, even though I didn’t buy those assets myself?
