Hi,
I have a problem to start c++ project, the problem comes from visual , it becomes impossible to download it with update 2, and with update 3 there is a problem Error C4599 '/IC:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual 14.0\VC\INCLUDE': command line argument number 261 does not match precompiled header
I have found a trick here: unreal forum link
it would be cool if you resolve this problem of microsoft (we can’t blame you
)
thanks
Charlie
Hi TurkishViking,
We are aware of the error with VS Update 3 and have a fix implemented in the source builds on github that can be implemented from here:
https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/commit/f011bacaaf292ebdc8f33fdeb78bb14d30eaa6bc
Hi, thanks to answer so fast!
the link doesn’t works
Follow the steps here to set up your epic account to access the github source build. The reason the link doesn’t work is because it requires a logged in github accountdocs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/GettingStarted/DownloadingUnrealEngine/index.html
