Hi everyone! I’m having an issue with Vertex Paint in Unreal Engine 5 and I’m hoping someone can help me out.
I created an object in Blender, applied subdivisions, and exported it to Unreal Engine 5 using FBX. Vertex Paint works fine in Unreal Engine 4, but for some reason it’s not working in Unreal Engine 5. I’ve checked the material and project settings, but haven’t found a solution yet.
My workflow details:
Modeling software: Blender.
Export: FBX with subdivisions applied.
Unreal Engine 4: Vertex Paint works fine.
Unreal Engine 5: Doesn’t work.
Does anyone know if there are specific settings in Unreal Engine 5 that could be causing this issue? Or if there’s something I need to tweak in Blender before exporting?
