PPI pricing

I have a question concerning the PPI. Will the price of your project be calculated over the amount of photos in the reconstructed component, or will all uploaded photos be included in the price calculation, even the ones which do not end up in your reconstruction, or make up small components?

Hello dear user,
the price is being calculated for all of the images in the project.

So thinking constructively, can you keep the PPI costs lower by exporting the component to be used to a new project and running it again?

Thanks in advance,

364466362291 That would be possible but only on the same machine where the component was created. If you would wish to go to another machine with them then you should be selecting all of the wanted images from a component, exporting an image list and importing the images using image list into a new project. Just so you know which exactly will you use and therefore yes, lower the costs.

The way I am thinking of is from this tutorial

https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001569011-Working-with-Components-Merging-components

following:

ALIGNMENT -> Export -> Registration and choosing to save as RealityCapture alignment component.

WORKFLOW -> Import & Metadata -> Component

This way you have all useful images which in theory can align in 1 component

Well yes indeed you would only pick the effective pictures which then belong to the most powerful component and export it into a new project on the same machine. Correct.

thanks for the help, I will give it a try
