!!!?Potential sparks on smoother workflow and operation with heavy files?!!! - How come the file with the same geometry and map have different FPS when they are imported differently via Layer / Collapse by Material? I have a relatively large file, with 15-20M polygons. The model was made in Revit, with some maps applied on the facade and interior of the building. The file is turning too complex for the machine to handle, so i am trouble shooting atm. One of the discovery I found during this trouble shooting was in the same set view, same geometry, same mapping, all imported via datasmith, but the the FPS for the Layer hierarchy file was at 350FPS, where as the FPS for the collapse via Material capped around 120 FPS. The current state of this model is only 30-40% done, as the project continues there will be more complexity to the file. It would be great to understanding how different import or layer management is somehow affecting the workflow so there could be alternatives or methods to reduce the chances of large files crashing or just enhanced the overall quality when operating on a large file?
