I am having issues in macos (OSX). I am trying to install metahuman plugin on 5.5 & 5.4. Both error out. This seems to be a mac issue for me.

i thought so too because the same day I installed it on a Windows system to get the work done from Fab itself and it worked well

Looks like a manifest file issue. Is there a workaround ? Can we download and install the plugin manually ?

Having this same problem. Just decided to try the metahuman plug-in and had this problem and did 3 different installs even changed engine versions was about to give up. Please fix this :ā(
Itās not surprising that this still hasnāt been fixed yet, since our saying internally that we always say around here is ādonāt rely on Epicā and that advice has served us well all these years. We usually make it a point to just build anything we need ourselves, rather than trust Epic for anything.
Now we realized this was a problem immediately after of updating our plugins, and then on Thursday of last week submitted some .zip files to go with our UE downloads. They are literally still āpending verificationā since last week, even though all we did was add a few .zip files, didnāt even change the UE downloads.
So even though weāre trying to actively do something about this, by offering at least .zip downloads for our customers, even that apparently canāt get done around here, and is too much to ask. This entire rollout has been so abysmal itās actually insane, even by our ādonāt rely on Epicā standard. We have customers that cannot download our plugins at all, a broken profile page with no items on it (all because we edited our username) and everything is just sitting around āpending verificationā for almost a week!
going to add to the thread here. I am an UE beginning and really was hitting my stride with animation, sequencer and control rigs. I wanted to follow a tutorial that said download the metahuman plugin. The plugin didnt show up until I did the Fab migration, and now I am unsure what to do. I think Metahuman Animator looks so cool and will help take me to the next level, but why put in an unneccesry hoop like Fab breaking everything that was already working fine. Reading others comments made me feel less crazy because I didnāt do anything but what Epic told me to do and now I feel I cant take the next step in my learning.
Iāll check the status on this.
Iām having same issue can literally not access this metahuman plugin and have tried re-installing unreal 5x now. I also tried making a brand new account too. I just want to go from mesh to metahuman COME ON EPIC PLZ xo
We found the issue that caused some of the plugins submitted to Fab to fail to install. Weāve implemented additional safety nets to ensure that new publications will not be left in a broken state moving forward.
This change added delays in our ability to process plugin submissions, so please bear with us for a few days while we work through the queue to get your listings updated on Fab.
