People Use Technology But Usually Have No Idea How It Works

It’s already happening…!

“People Use Technology But Usually Have No Idea How It Works”
Thats true for my UE usage…

And we are very far beyond the point where one single human can know everything what mankind knows. Without us falling, or transcending with the technological singularity, that will not change anymore.

Yes, indeed.

Good points. But the “Singularity” will cause such rapid increases in knowledge; the more advanced a “unified AI” becomes the more information and knowledge it generates. Hence a possible exponential explosion that could (as Ray Kurzweil actually alludes to IIRC) consume the computing capability of the entire universe. I foresee that at no point would the “unified AI” actually understand or compute such knowledge because as it is now the information gathered and stored itself far dwarfs any meaningful knowledge gained from it, even for a hyper-advanced “unified AI”.

What means that?
2 hours bugfree since patch 9.35 b23!

If people knew how tech works, I would be out of a job. Or, if people knew how to use google, I would be out of a job too. I <3 users

Within the next 50 years (as early as 2015 accelerating through to 2035 and beyond) for most of the “civilised world”, there will only be two kind of jobs. Jobs done by robots and jobs that can’t be done by robots.
