But it seems I do!

Thanks for Captain Crunch! (Thanks for the cereal too! )

!!! I needed this

I created a PDF of the Programming Guide that I can add to your collection

I don’t want to sound out rude is free to do whatever they want but I’m just stating my opinion on this

I don’t get it ! We are in 2015 why print something in nearly a thousand pages of paper which you can read on your PC,tablet or phone online or offline anytime. Plus the docs gonna get outdated and change with time. With Computerized docs you can search and read whatever you need in an instant as opposed to turning pages for several minutes.

A PDF that contain all that text would require large amount of memory to load and would be very inefficient compared to CHM. The only upside to having a printed version is you can read it at a place where there is no electricity for prolonged period and I don’t think you’d be carrying these gigantic books to read on the go.

Because our internet is really slow and shoddy at times.
So its better to have it downloaded than to possibly loose connection trying to look at something.

It for sure is already outdated, but it helped me a lot to get started by making notes in it etc…

Some additional info relating to the pdf doc:
It covers everything that was online at Unreal Engine 5.2 Documentation | Unreal Engine 5.2 Documentation during october 2015 EXCEPT for the programming guide wich can be found here: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest...ing/index.html
The part ‘Engine Features’ will be available in one file (002_Engine Features.pdf) or split up for better printing (002_Engine Features_Part1.pdf + 002_Engine Features_Part2).
File Size: 265MB overall

So, finally here is your present for Xmas:

Hey pal.
I downloaded the free trial version of Adobe Acrobat pro. It has an option for creating a pdf out of websites. I played around with different webservices and other software, but Adobe worked best for me. Just try different options in Acrobat to find out what suites your needs. Unfortunately, it still takes a lot of time to convert a huge webpage, but it worked for me.
Have a nice day,
CCrunch

Why do you need a paper version? Isn’t it enough to save the website?

If we can get the API in CHM, why not the rest?

Mate, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for the tree-killing UE4 bible.

The greatest gift ever, especially when my internet connection is going to get closed next month!

I’m surprised paper still exists. Isn’t it unpractical though? How do you even Ctrl+F on a paper? :stuck_out_tongue:

You don’t CTRL-F. You read it from cover to cover and make notes along the way with sticky tabs to mark major areas of interest and reference. is the most wonderful find in the world and I will be looking to print weekend.
