¿Pay to Export Masks?

Hi!

I´m learning to use masks and components. I got stuck trying to export a mask from my first component because looks like if I have to pay to export masks, that´s true or I´m doing something wrong?

That would mean… Export mask of each component (and it can be 1, 2, 3 or who know how many components) after that, merge all the components and masks in a new scene and pay again to export the full model?

Thank you!

You are not paying for the mask, but for licensing the inputs. When you license your inputs, then you can create different exports. Once you license your inputs, they are licensed forever (the info about licensing is saved on our servers for 2 years, but you can also save this file to your computer). You are just paying for used inputs. You can find more info here: https://www.capturingreality.com/RealityCapture-PPI

Thank you for the answer Ondrej!

Ok I understand, I already have credits (and the price looks me great) but how I´m learning I wanted to be sure that the result gonna be satisfactory to me.

Then, last question here, there are other way to put together, e.g. the sole part of a sneaker with all the rest? May be merging 2 components using control points or do you recommend me to use masks?

You’re welcome. If the results won’t be satisfactory, you can add another images to dataset and license them. You can also create masks in some third party software and use them as image layer in RealityCapture.

It depends, how the sneakers are captured. But it is good idea to use control points to merge these parts.

Thank you Ondrej! Then, in that example the only way is working with masks if what I understand, right?

Well, finall I got it! Instead of to use mask I tried it with several components and control points.

The result is awsome, and this way I avoid to generate masks.
