I found how to fix it. Clothing data might have caused the crash on ue 5.4 and 5.5. I import the paragon TwinBlast into ue 4.27. Remove clothing data (on the shirts) then export fbx and reimport it back into UE5. Works with no crash. Then you need to manually reapply clothing data. Materials, animation works the same.
Apparently, the internals of clothing physics changed from ue 4 → 5
