NVIDIA GameWorks Merged Branch by

does anyone know how to speedup the build process this what i did i am using vs 2015
first i open the project selected developement editor win64 and unrealdevlopment tool clicked the build solution it started building but it was building it skipped some projects so i stop them and went in configuration manager checked all to build after that i again started build solution and in 1hour 15 minutes it only did 16% now i did clean solution and also vs mostly freezes for some seconds

Build speed will be dependent on your computer specs. It takes me around 30 mins - 45 mins to do a clean compile from scratch. But i am running good hardware as well as using a SSD. The avg time seems to be around 1hr or more.

Compilation can take quite some time on older hardware, with my i5 750 and an 8 year old HDD full rebuilds (of the VXGI branch) were 3+ hour affairs (I’d say up to 6 hours, but I don’t really remember and it’s been a while).

my specs fx 8300 stock speed 8gb ram gtx 9604gb 1tb western digital blue there is also option for icredibuild but when i try to run it it says no licence certificate and can only use 1 core so which one should i use

and also how to use nvidia nsight for acceleration

Hi galaxy man your work is really awesome. nvidia + unreal engine = Galaxy man :D, when you update latest integration??

hi , when your final update 4.13??

guys it is giving me warning

I’ll start the update on Monday. So anytime after that.

Learn how to program. Thats around the age I started learning C++. Its a long road ahead but well worth it I reckon.

I’m looking forward to your 4.13.* integration with gameworks, I’m curious as to how difficult it would be for (me) to integrate the Win10 UWP source repo into your gameworks repo? I know the basics of git but I’m not well versed in it.

hello champion(), what about your latest integration???

thank you so much!!! you are epic

Hey guys I am running 's 4.12.5 integration branch and the VR performance is terrible!
Even opening an empty project and just doing “vr preview” causes the draw thread to go bananas.
Building makes no difference.

Anyone else has this issue?

No definitely not seen that issue, did plenty of testing when I merged MultiRes and even ran one of my previous GameJam games with the engine, which was a VR game (not a very complicated one, but still, was easily running at the required FPS in VR).

I’ll try with the 4.13p2 as I only need flex. Thank you for all the work, indeed!

Is there any tutorial VRWORKS in UE4? like HAIRWORKS. I hope to use VRWORKS asap

, any up to date info about if or when Nvidia will release VXGI full 100% source code? thanks.

Responded to your PM. Short answer is no there is no tutorial as of yet.

Nope, probably best to ask Alexey, but I’d imagine its still a while away before they consider releasing the full source to VXGI.

hi 4.13 preview i use hairworks working fine direction light when i use point and spotlight hair color change like normal map
