Hi ,

First thing would be to make sure you have uninstalled any previously installed datasmith exporter plugin and you can find the instructions in the Install article below.

After you should confirm you have the .NET installed on your machine. Then try to install the plugin, and if you are still having issues please try the next step.

Download and place the latest Archicad Datasmith installer msi file on your desktop and follow the below instructions:

  1. Go to the Windows search bar and type CMD
  2. Right click and Open the Command Prompt app and click Run as Administrator
  3. Type CD\
  4. Press Enter
  5. Type the following: CD users\USERNAME\desktop (Replace USERNAME with your local user name)
  6. Press Enter
  7. Type: msiexec /i UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_0_3.msi /lvx* Install_Log_ArchicadDatasmith
  8. Press Enter
  9. Follow the install instruction and close the installer.
  10. A log file should have been created on the desktop

If the installation failed please send us the log file and a screen-shot of the error.

Please also make sure that you are not using Archicad 26, the plugin does not support it.
